AlmavivA stands by "Just the woman I am”, scheduled from 6 to 8 March in Piazza San Carlo in Turin: an event of sport, culture, wellness and socializing in support of university cancer research, organized by the Turin university system made up of the Turin University, Turin Polytechnic and the Turin University Sports Center.
This year, AlmavivA will once again be represented, participating in the event which recorded more than 100,000 attendees last year, including 20,000 registered for the non-competitive race and the 6K walk which involved women and men, side by side.
Education and university research, physical activity and nutrition are the key words of "Just the woman I am": university sports are on the front lines to communicate their educational values in an initiative that will be more than just a race. On Friday, 6 March and Saturday, 7 March, at the Villaggio della Prevenzione (Prevention Village) that will be set up in Piazza San Carlo, free preventive exams will be organized, open to the general public and the school with the aim of raising awareness with the young on health prevention and protection. And on 8 March, a rich program of events will liven up the square.
