Designed by architect Mario Cucinella as a modern interpretation of the Ideal Renaissance City, complete with a theater, porticoes, a central square, and an Italian-style garden, iconic elements of Italy's urban and social identity, the Italy Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka focuses on the value of the individual and his or her interactions with the surrounding world.

“Thinking with your hands” is the concept that drives the pavilion’s narrative: a blend of knowledge and foresight that is the foundation of Italy’s world renowned craftsmanship and innovation.

“Designing Future Society for Our Lives” is the theme of Expo 2025 Osaka, which will take place from April 13th to October 13th, inviting the global community to contribute tangible solutions for building a sustainable society, one that is capable of supporting the concept of the individual and of improving quality of life for all people.
