“Is Local Government ready to go, to digitalize itself and consequently guide the digital transformation of our country?” the organizers wonder. “The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, in all of its drama, forced the public machine to change gears and proved to be a powerful litmus test for the actions, more or less virtuous, undertaken thus far. However, at this umpteenth pivotal moment, it is fundamental for Local Government to reason and act prospectively and inclusively. After playing a crucial role in managing the health and economic emergency, it is now called on to be one of the key players in relaunching the entire country. One of them, not the only one. To make the good things that have been done in recent months systemic and not contingent, and to take full advantage of the significant amount of resources which will be available for the relaunch of the country, institutions must engage the true protagonists of the Italian digital transformation – citizens and enterprises – in order to make a chorus of the actions of individuals.”

This is the focus of 2020 Digital Agenda Monitoring
