Donating blood is a voluntary act that costs nothing. It is a civic duty and a tangible expression of solidarity towards others. It celebrates the value of life, breaks down barriers of gender, race, religion, and ideology, and is one of the few moments of true preventive medicine. It is an extraordinary act of generosity that saves lives.

Almaviva supports the Italian Red Cross in Rome, a city still far from achieving the self-sufficiency of almost all other Italian cities, by organizing a Blood Donation Day on May 15th at the Casal Boccone headquarters.
