the workshop promoted by EY and AlmavivA scheduled for today in Capri.

For the customary EY Capri Digital Summit, EY and AlmavivA have organised an event dedicated to relaunching the digital agenda.

The workshop scheduled for today in Capri will analyse the state of the art and short-term actions geared towards creating intelligent communities that value new forms of communication between public and private subjects, rooted in social innovation, and the co-design of policies and services with competence centres and central institutions, capable of attracting investments, skills and human capital. AlmavivA has been involved in this effort for some time. The company supports the public administration in designing projects and in the sustainable management of services, in the belief that digital growth must start from local communities.

The meeting will provide an initial assessment of the results attained in metropolitan cities with regard to digital platforms and services, thanks to the speech by Giorgio Martini – Management Authority of PON METRO (National Operational Plan for Metropolitan Cities). Riccardo Monaco – Management Authority of PON GOVERNANCE – will instead illustrate the plans to promote networks between cities and the exchange of good practices. In addition, the Regional Councillor for Internationalisation, Start-ups and Innovation of the Campania Region, Valeria Fascione, will analyse the role of regional bodies by illustrating the Digital Plan for Campania.

Also thanks to the understanding of urban contexts deriving from the EY SMART CITY INDEX, a round table will allow for analysing ideas and the projects implemented in various sectors, such as smart tourism, smart mobility, social inclusion and housing, and digital services for citizens. Representatives of the metropolitan cities will discuss the governance tools required for the development of digital communities, with an emphasis on improving the skills of public officers. Representatives of the non-profit and research sectors will speak about the activation of inclusive participation and co-design projects.
