The AlmavivA Group launches its partnership with the Disability Pride
After supporting the event held last July, the AlmavivA Group announces its partnership with Disability Pride Italia, an organization grouping several social realities which, through a series of scientific and cultural initiatives, promotes the civil rights of disabled persons.
It takes this step on the occasion of the “International Day of Persons with Disabilities”, proclaimed by the United Nations for December 3rd, which aims to celebrate worldwide the wellbeing and rights of disabled persons and guarantee that they can fully and effectively participate in the political, social, economic and cultural spheres of society.

Monday, December 2nd
“Disability Care” - Scientific research and technology in healthcare
A conference will be held at the Italian Ministry of Health to promote the disclosure of research results, which will involve distinguished scientists, Italian researchers and representatives of Italy’s technological corporations—excellences bearing witness to the reliability of Italy’s research and innovation sector.

Notre Dame de Paris in LIS with AUDIO DESCRIPTION
A show will be held at the Ghione Theater in Rome in Italian sign language (LIS) with an audio description to sensitize the public on accessibility and inclusion. The participants will include lower and upper secondary school students alongside the blind, deaf and people without sensory disabilities; this work, which is unique among its kind in the world and has received numerous institutional acknowledgments, puts the spotlight on equal access to culture and the possibility for all people of enjoying the same show. PerVoice of the AlmavivA Group will guarantee live subtitles, thanks to its voice recognition technologies.
