“Put a Tree under the Tree” was the slogan that accompanied last year’s Christmas celebrations for announcing one of the AlmavivA Green initiatives: the start of the planting of a small AlmavivA forest in partnership with ZeroCO2, a young Italian startup engaged in reforestation in Guatemala, to counter the climate crisis and produce a considerable social impact.
Saturday, November 21st, 2020: on National Tree Day the AlmavivA staff become custodians of the forest.
The restrictions imposed by COVID-19 limit the celebrations of a day cherished throughout the country, one of the most ancient environmental ceremonies that the national tradition inherited from ancient and remote cultures.
AlmavivA wants to celebrate it by giving 5,000 people of the Group a tree from this distant forest, to underline in a simple and concrete way how to actively “take care” of our corporate culture.
