“The enemies of soccer" is the title of the panel presented by Piero Rossini, AlmavivA Deputy General Manager, at the Social Football Summit this afternoon. Among others, participants included Lega Serie A CEO Luigi De Siervo.

At the center of the DGM’s presentation were the elements of greatest social value in the Soccer Industry, which can draw benefits from modern technologies.

“Technologies today allow us to structure new business models - Rossini commented in conclusion - In particular, we are seeing the spreading of platforms that allow sports events to be exploited in real time with the insertion of advertising content and interactive communication and which contribute to making the sporting event increasingly more involving."

“Furthermore - he continued - technologies are an extraordinary means of social inclusion through interaction in real time that favors the creation of community where a dialog between soccer clubs and fans can be fed to bring back that ‘sporting’ spirit that sometimes appears to have been lost."

“Fundamental opportunities for the soccer world - Rossini concluded - come from the platforms that operate on the Anti-fraud and Cyber Security fronts.
