Digital innovation, sustainability, and local development: as a founding member of the Venice Sustainability Foundation, Almaviva is participating in the special project “Intelligent Venice: the Oldest City of the Future”, organized by VSF for the 2025 Architecture Biennale.

The exhibition, officially presented yesterday at Ca' Giustinian, headquarters of the Biennale di Venezia Foundation, will run from May 10th to November 23rd at the Tesa dell'Isolotto, Darsena Grande of the Arsenale, curated by Benno Albrecht (Iuav University of Venice), Renato Brunetta (VSF and National Council for Economy and Labor - CNEL), Pierpaolo Campostrini (CORILA), and Paolo Costa (C+3C Sistemi e Strategie). For over 20 years, the Almaviva Group has been a partner in the digital growth and development of Venice and the lagoon area, bringing together innovation and sustainability.

The focus at the Biennial will be on: future energy for VEGA (Venice’s science and technology park) thanks to a digital platform designed for energy communities and smart buildings; monitoring of the water network in the city's historic center and surrounding islands using digital tools for real-time detection and analysis of water leaks; the use of Big Data and AI to better understand patterns in tourism and enable strategic planning and the enhancement of local areas; and the integration of public and private transportation across Veneto into a single Mobility As a Service platform.
