Giusy Meloni hosted the award ceremony for the best of the Italian and international soccer industry last night in the evocative setting of Acquario Romano.

Antonio Amati, General Manager of Almaviva, presented Almaviva’s “Innovation of the Year” award to i-BrainTech (Ashley Rose – Head of Marketing) and Juventus (Carolina Chiappero – Innovation Manager).

The awards for Best Digital and Social Media Club and for Best Social Media Strategy went to Real Madrid and Manchester United respectively, emphasizing the expansion of the Social Football Summit’s internationalization process. Meanwhile, Extra Time, the start-up competition of the Social Football Summit, saw 9 startups from all over Italy, as well as from Switzerland and Spain, reach the final stage, with the award ultimately going to H-Cube.

Among the many distinguished names who received awards during the evening were Lazio soccer player Luis Alberto, Lecce Soccer Director Pantaleo Corvino, and Laura Giuliani, goalkeeper for Milan and the women's national team.
