The “2023 Golden Apple” for management was awarded by the Bellisario Foundation to Valeria Sandei, CEO of Almawave, in recognition of “the innovative vision and cosmopolitan approach with which she has built a brilliant career in the world of new technologies. She is an icon of female leadership that strives and is destined to become a protagonist of the future.”

“Artificial intelligence is already a part of our daily lives, and may improve the quality of our lives in the future. However, technology must be and remain a means for evolution, and never an end to be pursued without rules.” These were the words of Valeria Sandei during the award ceremony. “I would like to give young women this advice: believe in yourself, don't set limits for yourself, and put enormous energy into everything you do.”
