The Almaviva Group is proud to partner with Online Onlife, an educational initiative designed to help young people deepen their knowledge and understanding of technology and the digital world, and to encourage safe and responsible digital citizenship that permits people to navigate the virtual world both ethically and conscientiously.
"Using digital tools correctly and responsibly doesn’t just mean knowing how to use devices or applications - it also means being aware of the risks, opportunities, and ethical implications of every online action."
"As a digital innovation group, Almaviva is committed to promoting cultural awareness. In a world where technology is an integral part of everyday life, knowing how to protect one’s personal data, recognize fake news and scams, and respect other people’s privacy is essential.”
These were the words of Alessandro Mantelli, CTO of Almaviva's IT Division, addressing the audience today at the Senate Library during the presentation ceremony for the new cycle of InClasse educational initiatives – a series of projects offered free of charge to Italian schools by Fondazione Articolo 49 with the objective of combatting educational poverty, reducing school dropout rates, and enhancing the contribution of younger generations to their communities.
