The Anitec-Assinform shareholders’ meeting confirmed Marco Gay as president for another two years. This according to an announcement by the Italian ICT association, a member of Confindustria. The shareholders also voted on the team of six vice-presidents and the program of activities. Furthermore, Alberto Tripi, President of AlmavivA, was delegated the oversight of strategies and the research center.

“At this stage, businesses must adapt and seize the opportunities which innovation offers, albeit in a fragile and uncertain context,” Gay said. “Digital technology will be essential to maintaining competitiveness and increasing productivity. Our association will, therefore, have to work alongside companies, interpreting their expectations and representing their needs, all with the objective of defining proposals and promoting actions which will modernize a production system that looks at the future of our country through the lens of industrial policies.”
