The 25th edition of Ecomondo, one of the leading international showcases for the world’s “green” future with a sustainable and circular development model, comes to a close today in Rimini. The fair was an opportunity to present the "Reclamation Database" project put together by Almaviva, a technological partner of the Ministry of Ecological Transition.

Aimed at streamlining and simplifying reclamation processes at Sites of National Interest (SINs), the project included, in addition to the database, the creation of three applications: SmartEcoGIS, SmartCatasto, and SmartBonifiche.

The presentation, which took place at the MiTE booth, described the functionalities of “SmartEcoGIS,” aimed at integrating the 'Reclamation DB' with other MiTE Databases and applications, with the goal of giving residents the ability to consult layers of information related to SINs within a graphic and georeferenced environment, search the database to find the specific documents associated with them, and, in a single environment, make use of the data provided by the national GeoPortal in order to have an integrated view.

“At a time in history when sustainable development is a particularly heartfelt and important issue for the future of the economy and the planet, Almaviva strengthens its commitment alongside public administration, facilitating the digitalization of administrative procedures and the regularization of sites undergoing reclamation,” said Massimiliano Evangelista, Almaviva’s Ecological Transition Practice Manager.
