AlmavivA announces the arrival of new Open Banking, Digital Payment & Data-Rights Management solutions

In conjunction with Token and Trunomi, AlmavivA's Digital Service Line has come up with new systems designed to unlock business opportunities which are PSD2 and GDPR-compliant

Rome (Italy), 16 February 2017 – AlmavivA's Digital Service Line has launched new open banking, digital payment and data-rights management solutions in keeping with the requirements of the PSD2 directive and GDPR regulations. Devised in conjunction with two fintech partners, Token & Trunomi, these innovative solutions pave the way for brand-new business opportunities whilst ensuring compliance with the new European directive on payment services on the internal market (PSD2) and the general data protection regulation (GDPR).

"The financial services market is rapidly evolving, especially for digital transactions." explained Piero Rossini, AlmavivA's Deputy General Manager. "Our partnerships with start-ups enable us to deliver innovative solutions which create value whilst reducing risks and lowering costs. We are looking forward to working with our customers and banking partners so they can empower their business with API-based digital innovation".

In partnership with Token, AlmavivA delivers a digital-payment solution which enables banks to benefit from new value-added business models as part of the new open-banking revolution. The solutions have been carefully designed to ensure maximum flexibility and to avoid the risks incurred by the advent of PISPs (Payment Initiation Service Providers) and AISPs (Account Information Service Providers). There is whole array of service on offer which will develop according to market demands.

The alliance between AlmavivA and Trunomi ensures that personal data will be used in compliance with GDPR regulations. Using a digital consent certificate for each single client data transaction, the platform allows companies to share and use data in a reliable and secure way.
