The temporary association of companies headed by the Italian ICT group wins the tender for the maintenance and development of information systems concerning the Budget Area of the (Italian) State General Accounting Office

Rome, June 24th 2019 – AlmavivA has signed with Sogei an agreement for the maintenance and development of information systems relative to the Budget Area of the State General Accounting Office, amounting to roughly 20 million over 4 years, through the temporary association of companies including Altilia, Catchy, Consorzio Reply Public Sector, Ecubit, Eustema, Geek Logica, MICE, Spark Reply.

Proven expertise and a deep knowledge of the Administration’s needs, thanks to the long collaboration with Sogei and with the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, enabled the temporary association of companies headed by AlmavivA to obtain a very high score. Moreover, the involvement of four startups and two small- and medium-size enterprises in the association of enterprises added an innovative dimension to the offer, in line with the call for tender’s requirements.

“The synergy between large corporations and startups inaugurates a new sourcing model adopted by Consip,” underlined Antonio Amati, General Manager of the AlmavivA IT Division, “AlmavivA’s extensive field experience coupled with the disruptive capabilities of startups will enable the temporary association of companies to aid the State General Accounting Office in strengthening its digitalization process, guaranteeing enhanced efficiency and security for a complex and strategic system as is the Budget macro-area—a crucial sector for the State’s operation.”

The functions of the Budget Area are strategic to the information system of the State General Accounting Office for the running of institutional activities involved in the governance of accounting and public finance issues.

Recourse to advanced and innovative technologies will ensure the efficient development of in-depth analyses required for collaborating with Government bodies in assessing financial and economic-accounting operations and in producing, in real time, all the official documents used by Government and by Parliament.
