Digital Destination Italy: the Oscar Dedicated to the Most Popular Tourist Destinations Among Both Italian and International Tourists Returns

The Data Appeal Company, a member of the Almawave Group, presented the tourism Oscars during the TTG Travel Experience event.

A total of 32 million "digital footprints" and 797,000 tourist, historical, and cultural sites were analyzed, along with accommodations, short-term rentals, venues, and restaurants.

Now in its ninth edition, the award recognizes regions and tourist destinations that have achieved the best online performance, standing out to tourists in terms of the overall perception of what they have to offer, with a particular focus on the quality of hospitality, services, and the experience as a whole.

A total of 9 prizes were awarded during the ceremony, accompanied by the exclusive presentation of the “All the Data of Italy 2024” report, a survey that aims to assess the state of Italy’s tourism industry, as experienced and shared by tourists online between 2023 and 2024.
