Almaviva, an Italian digital innovation group, has joined the Fondazione Venezia Capitale Mondiale della Sostenibilità / Venice Sustainability Foundation (FVCMS/VSF) as a co-founding member.
Almaviva intends to contribute to the foundation’s mission of creating sustainable value for Venice and its metropolitan area through the use of advanced digital processes aimed at revitalizing the local socio-economy, not only ensuring the protection and preservation of environmental, historical, and cultural heritage, but while also strengthening the local community.
Digitalization of the regions, simplification of relationships between public and private entities, enhancement of data and information, accessibility, and reduction of environmental impact: these are what characterize the integrated skills model which will allow Almaviva to support the creation of shared value for a privileged tourist destination such as Venice. This shared value offers social benefits to residents and visitors, economic benefits for the region, and environmental benefits for the city and lagoon’s ecosystem.
“Almaviva’s participation contributes to enhancing the innovative momentum of our partnership. Its experience and expertise in supporting the digital transition will be of enormous help in implementing cutting-edge solutions that will benefit those who use or manage our territory, while fully respecting its sustainability,” commented the foundation’s president, Renato Brunetta.
“Through its activities, Almaviva accompanies the country towards an increasingly digital and ethical future and supports the growth of communities, industries, and infrastructures, in an effort to constantly enhance the quality of the services and products offered,” says Alberto Tripi, President of the Almaviva Group. “We’re proud to be able to make a tangible contribution to FVCMS projects, particularly in the fields of tourism, culture, ecological transition, and mobility, by providing innovative and sustainable solutions that guarantee an improvement in people's lives and in the surrounding environment.”
