Almawave, AlmavivA Group's technology innovation and business intelligence company, has acquired a 50.9% stake in PerVoice S.p.A., a leader in Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) technology, based on last-generation solutions developed entirely in Italy; a market which is thought to be worth billions of euros.

The PerVoice technology, developed on the basis of research programs conducted for over 20 years by the Bruno Kessler Foundation of Trento, in the field of Language Processing, and acknowledged as among the best technologies worldwide, will now become a part of Almawave's Iride Customer Centric Suite, creating the first wholly integrated platform for the real-time multi-channel analysis of customer contacts, and Iride Shared Knowledge Suite, a platform focusing on the corporate knowledge management, antifraud processes and the advanced management of linked open data.

By acquiring PerVoice, Almawave will complete its portfolio of technologies and solutions integrating voice, social media channels, semantics, advanced statistical algorithms, real-time conceptual business intelligence solutions and new-generation business process management models.

Iride Customer Centric Suite is now integrated with Automatic Speech Recognition technologies using the most advanced Speech-To-Text and Emotional Analysis algorithms in the main languages, such as English, German, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese, Danish and Greek. Thanks to significant investments, the solutions developed to date, in fact, are already being successfully employed on the international markets.

As a result of this acquisition, Almawave has become the first Italian company to offer a unique platform, currently the most complete of its kind, for the solutions it offers and the complementary nature of the instruments it employs, capable of satisfying the all-round synthesis and routing needs of its clients, creating a customer experience of excellence.

Based on its Iride platforms, Almawave, a company headed by Valeria Sandei - which operates in Italy and internationally, and is particularly active on the Brazilian market - can offer solutions capable of analyzing and understanding huge amounts of data, in real time, whether organized and structured or destructured, thus ensuring the full integration of the concept of "big data" in business processes.
Besides benefiting from the business generated as a result of its integration with Iride Customer Centric Suite, PerVoice will continue to operate on the market with its own products, such as FlyScribe for cloud transcription; the PASS (PerVoice Audio Text-Synchro Suite) transcription solution, which can easily create an authentic and synchronized digital version of a voice recording; the Audioma Box (for batch transcription) and Audioma Real Time systems, which are real-time/dictation transcription solutions, and its PSW – PerVoice subtitling workstation, a breakthrough solution for "live" TV subtitling.

Almawave is AlmavivA Group's innovation company, offering ideas and solutions of excellence based on natural and user-friendly technology, and combining business vision and technological competence, to constantly enhance the customer experience and valorize enterprise knowledge.

AlmavivA Group is Italy's number one Information & Communication Technology provider, with a longstanding experience and in-depth knowledge of the market sectors for which it develops cutting-edge solutions. The Group's offering includes IT Solutions, Outsourcing of CRM services and Consulting and Business Intelligence activities. With a turnover of 700 M € in 2012 and 27,000 human resources, Almaviva Group is a global concern, with operations in Brazil, Tunisia and China.

PerVoice, founded in 2007 and based in Trento, has been a market leader in its field right from the start and can now exploit an over 20-year-long experience in speech technology research, conducted at the FBK/IRST Center set up by Bruno Kessler Foundation. To date, PerVoice has developed about 20 proprietary applications for sectors such as Media and New Media, Telco&Utilities and Reporting Companies, currently used in several European countries and worldwide.
