The second edition of Port&ShippingTech – the international Forum on technological innovation for the competitive development of the port system and shipping was hosted in the prestigious location of the Ducal Palace of Genoa, on 22 and 23 November.
The event, conceived and organized by ClickUtility, a marketing and consulting company operating in the Mobility, Transport and Local Public Services sectors, featured a series of important high-level conferences and highly specialized and qualified thematic workshops.
AlmavivA TSF participated in the event with its own stand and providing a much appreciated contribution to the session on “Towards Green Logistics: from the development of the interport system to boosting cargo rail transport”, with a speech by Fausto Legnini, Development Market & Logistics Manager, who illustrated the “IT Solutions for supporting Container Terminal Processes”.
Since the event attracted a great deal of attention, from both the media and the public, Carlo Silva, the organizer, has announced that next year, concomitantly with the third edition a "Green City Energy OntheSEA" will be launched.
The Port&ShippingTech Forum and Green City Energy OntheSEA, which are scheduled to be held in Genoa in November 2011, will contribute to the development of a new vision of the city promoted by the European Union, the Smart City, based on cutting back emissions and focusing on the development of clean and smart technologies.
