AIFA - Italian Pharma Agency - has released the App "AIFA Medicinali" for mobile devices: a practical and quick tool to access information and receive notifications on medicines.

"AIFA Medicinali" App represents the fulfilment of a long process made by Almaviva together with AIFA in order to enhance the Agency information system since 2016.

AIFA Medicinali allows direct access to AIFA Drugs Database, detail search on individual medicine boxes, read the package leaflet (FI), and the abstract of product features (RCP), display and check the market status of the medicines authorized in Italy.

The App allows to save medicine brands in "Favourites", create one or more "cabinets" with most used drugs, and set notifications and alerts on taking medicines, offering patients or caregivers a support for correct therapy taking.
