The trends of the Agriculture 4.0 market and its adoption in Italian farms, the relevance of data and interoperability of solutions, technological and digital innovation in transformation, and traceability as a priority investment. These are among the primary themes explored by the study which the Smart Agrifood Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano’s School of Management conducted in collaboration with Almaviva. Digital innovation is confirmed to be a valuable strategic tool, capable of increasing economic, social, and environmental sustainability for the stakeholders in the agricultural and agri-food supply chain.

Representatives of the biggest players in the market will be called upon to comment on the results of the study during the Observatory’s final conference, for a thorough understanding of the impact of technological innovations in the agri-food industry. The observatory is considered a point of reference in Italy and one of the premier ones in the European Union. Valerio Aquè, R&D Manager for Almaviva, will speak.
