There are many influential women in ICT in Italy. And many of them hold positions in top management. CorCom decided to amplify the most powerful voices in that sector as a sort of united appeal to the incoming government to encourage digital growth in Italy. We will update this list as other calls come in, to alert women who could offer alternative readings to the traditional ones and offer tangible contributions in establishing new government policies.

Digitizing government is a tool to enhance the value of citizenship: it makes services accessible to everyone, makes government departments more transparent, and it simplifies their current use for many more people. It should be considered a permanent strategic priority in the agenda of every government. It is important to invest in new technologies and design new experiential courses for citizens, ensuring greater efficiency of organization and operation. To bridge the Italian digital gap, it is crucial to provide training and promote digital, technical and business skills, which enable the real transformation of the country, to empower the expertise that could be a driver of potential innovation - in AI, for example - to transform businesses and processes and create new opportunities for growth.
