Training to Create Jobs: Lazio Academy is Underway - Alberto Tripi: “A project that goes in the right direction”

27-10-2022

The Lazio Academy is underway, a network comprised of training institutes, companies, bilateral organizations where accredited, with training capabilities that are specific to the industry, technical institutes of higher learning, and professional schools, which offer courses to redevelop, update, and hone the specific skills of the younger generation, women, and both employed and unemployed individuals, starting in sectors such as tourism, construction, and digital technology.

“’Lazio Academy. Training to Create Jobs’, financed by the ESF+ with €10 million, is a project that’s definitely going in the right direction,” said Alberto Tripi, Vice President of Unindustria and head of the Technical Group for Digital Transformation. “Technological and digital innovation is one of the most important factors driving the development and progress of our region. It will be essential to promoting the project’s three experimental industries: digital technology, tourism, and construction. Digital transformation, a theme common to each of the NRRP’s missions, will impact all sectors, both public and private: from healthcare to education, from infrastructure to urban regeneration, and must absolutely be completed, as part of the implementation of the NRRP, by 2026. It’s this very deadline that’s increasingly highlighting the need, on the part of all companies in the ICT sector, for employees and specialists that are exceptionally skilled in new technologies and computer programming. That’s why the enterprise system fully supports the Lazio Academy’s mission.”

“I want to thank the Lazio Region’s Councilor for Ecological and Digital Transition, Roberta Lombardi, for the attention she has always dedicated to local companies, whose know-how when it comes to technological innovation makes Lazio a leader in Italy and Europe. Furthermore, regarding the topic of employment policies, I would like to acknowledge Councilor Di Berardino’s for his creation, with this project, of a career path that works in close synergy with the public and private sectors to achieve a common goal. This project is strongly supported by Unindustria’s Digital Transformation and Human Capital technical groups, overseen by Giuseppe Biazzo. We hope that the application process will take place as quickly as possible in order to allow these young men and women to begin their valuable training within both large companies and SMEs.”
