The “Blockchain and corporate information systems” seminar under way at the University of Messina

Today AlmavivA will be at the University of Messina to illustrate the new business models made possible thanks to Blockchain. The speakers will include Nicola Saitto, Blockchain Solution Architect, and Giovanni Di Nardo, the Program Manager responsible for the Agrifood & Innovation Lab. In addition, an in-depth debate will also focus on “ROUGE, the hi-tech stamp for Blood Oranges of Sicily IGP”, which AlmavivA has created together with the relevant protection Consortium. The aim is to analyze the entrepreneurial opportunities opened up by the use of decentralized architectures, by the application of production chain traceability and by the implementation of the AlmavivA hybrid model developed thanks to GiottoONCHAIN.

The intense collaboration between AlmavivA and universities, higher education centers and research facilities continues according to an Innovation Economy approach, which determines important changes in the training and job sectors, opening up entirely new synergies.

On May 6, the Blockchain Solution Architect, Glauco Ciprari, and Giuseppe Bertone, Head of Blockchain & Distributed Ledger Technology at AlmavivA, held lectures on Blockchain & GDPR and on Smart Contract & Smart Legal Contract at the Bachelor’s Course in Economics, Management and Computer Science at Bocconi University.

On May 11 Bertone lectured at the “Higher Education Course on Blockchain” of the “Federico II” University in Naples, focusing on the importance of business ecosystems with respect to the possibilities currently offered by decentralized architectures. Within the context of these initiatives, the partnership with the Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Research Center of the Polytechnic University of Milan was renewed.
