“The role of Artificial Intelligence is becoming increasingly crucial in the tourism industry, providing comprehensive support to operators and travelers alike. Even when it comes to the field of food and wine tourism, we’re witnessing the first experiments in bringing together agricultural products, from wine to traditional Italian recipes, with the tastes and expectations of ‘food and wine aficionados’, an increasingly significant segment of the tourism industry.” These were the words of Andrea Casadei, SME of Culture, Tourism, and Sport, who will speak on June 21st at the Food & Wine Tourism Forum, the most important event in Italy dedicated to innovation in food and wine tourism.

Organized by the Langhe Monferrato Roero Tourism Board, the objective of the event is to strengthen the connection between tourism and the diverse world of food and wine, two sectors that are closely linked for tourists, but whose strategic development is often pursued independently of one another.

A true window into the future, the panel discussion entitled “Sapiens, Humans Meet AI” focuses on digital acceleration, sustainable development, and emerging trends, elements in a major revolution with profound economic, social and ethical implications that are the theme of the next edition of BTO, Buy Tourism Online, a scientific partner of the Forum, which will be held November 22-23.
