“A website to restart”: the new Padua tourism website is made by AlmavivA

Padua invests in tourism through a new website created by AlmavivA. As soon as the emergency is over, the city of the Saint wants to be ready to attract tourists to diversified areas in full development: not only Giotto, the Scrovegni Chapel and the fourth century painting series, but also wine and food, nightlife, the walled cities and bicycle itineraries.

The AlmavivA technological architecture allows the data that is already on the regional Destinations Management System (DMS) to be integrated and upgraded, in addition to managing added value content directly on the platform. The project anticipates a quick evolution toward visibility instruments for the marketing information of the accommodation facilities available to those visiting the Padua territory.

“The investment being promoted is fundamental in relaunching tourism - said Tourism Alderman Andrea Colasio. When, and we hope it will be as soon as possible, the emergency is over, people will want to get back to traveling and visiting new places. Padua must promote itself as a fascinating and attractive destination.”

The AlmavivA Group invests in technologies, research, innovation, platforms, skills and strategic alliances in order to make the value of information increasingly more concrete and usable, contextualized and promoted based on the perception and need of the user, the customer, the community and the market. Smart territories use this new knowledge to support the best decisions on tourism, but also on security and energy consumption, as well as waste treatment, mobility, health care, education and much more.
