Almaviva’s experience in implementing security and machine learning systems that use video analysis for railway stations, now extends to airports. The new Life Detection Unit (LDU) for Baggage Handling Systems (BHS), which detects the presence of humans in the baggage handling system has been implemented at Linate and Malpensa airports.
The project was developed on the MOOVA Platform for SEA Milan Airport, the company that manages Milan’s airports, ranked among the top 10 airport operators in Europe in terms of cargo volume and passenger traffic.
