The entity and depth of the Covid-19 emergency require the effort of everyone for the common good. AlmavivA responds to the call of Institutions, proposing a solution made up of a Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and GIS platform, based on the AlmavivA GIOTTO Digital Platform, which enables the generation of a dashboard and informative layers geolocalized on different data sources connected to the spreading of the epidemic and a mobile app for private citizens, to be activated voluntarily and anonymously.

This proposal is based on the awareness and experience AlmavivA has accumulated through dozens of environmental emergency projects, health data integration, illegal immigration tracing and analysis and social network analysis for many Italian Public Administrations. Awareness and experience that AlmavivA has further consolidated over recent weeks, designing and creating solutions in support of the Covid-19 emergency across the territory for various public administrations.

All of the features of the solution proposed by AlmavivA are provided in observance of the by-design and by-default Security and Privacy principles. The platform allows the type of data processed to be defined, along with the relevant agencies, as well as the protection methods in full observance of the prevailing standard.
