Thursday 21st February: Microsoft and AlmavivA come together for the digital transformation of PAs

IT Division General Manager Antonio Amati discusses BigData4Innovation

Just as for a private company, embracing digital transformation can be a significant opportunity for public administrations, to create a driving effect with a positive impact for the entire supplier ecosystem and end users alike. But it is also true that there is no solution that suits all circumstances, and that especially in the case of PA there is a need for targeted, case-by-case approaches which capture the best of innovation without altering established routines, safeguarding the investments which have already been made and keeping user data and information safe. To achieve this, it is important that the main operators addressing this sector are able to cooperate, sharing mutual expertise to tailor solutions which adapt perfectly to individual requirements.

This is the case with Microsoft and AlmavivA, which for some time have had an ongoing partnership aimed at creating solutions for PAs and which have made the joint decision to step on the accelerator and strengthen it in order to fine-tune their proposals and contribute to Italy’s digitalisation.

To present the details of this new undertaking the two companies have arranged a meeting for 10.30 to 2 pm on Thursday 21st February at the Microsoft premises in viale Avignone 10, Rome, so they can illustrate how public bodies can utilise digital transformation to enhance in-house productivity, innovate processes and create new services for the benefit of citizens, sharing strategies and initiatives which have brought many public administrations to embrace the change.

IT Division General Manager Antonio Amati will be discussing Big Data 4Innovation with PS Director at Microsoft Italia Simonetta Moreschini.
