Team Almaviva of Cortina’s Dolomite Curling Club Wins the Women’s National Championship

Team Almaviva of Cortina’s Dolomite Curling Club has won the women’s national championship for the fourth year in a row with 10 consecutive wins out of 10: Stefania Costantini, Marta Lo Deserto, Angela Romei, and Giulia Zardini Lacedelli, who make up the team, are also the top four athletes at the national level individually.

This past February, Team Almaviva, coached by Violetta Caldart, participated in the Grand Slam finals in Canada for the first time in curling history. Next up: the World Championships in Sweden, starting March 18th. Good luck to the Dolomite Curling Club, led by Alessandro Zisa.
