Innovation as seen by the younger generations. Today is the most highly anticipated moment for the students of ContaminAction University: the finals of the contest are to take place, during which they’ll present their innovative projects to start-ups, multinationals, institutions, and nonprofit associations.

Almaviva is one of the companies that issued the challenges to these young participants. The first called for a feasibility study that would help limit training and residency time for physicians and health care workers using the Metaverse, fully respecting privacy through blockchain technology, AI, and ultra-fast networks. The second, focused on a new model of sharing economy, asked them to develop a start-up project based on the peer-to-peer production, storage, and exchange of energy within an energy community, making use of smart meters which create tokens to represent the surplus of energy produced, store it within an innovative centralized storage system, and use it when needed.
