At the weekend the Museo e Real Bosco di Capodimonte (Capodimonte Museum and Royal Park) will be hosting 24 hours of programming: two days dedicated to technology and camaraderie between experts on the subjects of Mobile Technology, IoT, Energy, Mobility, Gamification and Virtual Assistants.
The challenge set by the Campania Regional Authority and AlmavivA is aimed at developers, makers, engineers, designers, startuppers, students and communication experts in order to search for innovative technological solutions which allow interested potential investors to familiarise themselves with the opportunities arising as a result of the new Special Economic Zones (ZES).
A strategic project which makes Campania one of the first Italian regions to be at the starting gate, the Campania ZES covers an area of over 5000 hectares and, thanks to tax advantages and customised incentives, is designed to attract new national and international investments in production, linked to the activities of ports, entrepôts, airports and the entire logistics network supporting industrial production areas.
In the context of the Digital Agenda, the Campania Regional Authority - in line with the requirements of the national Digital Growth strategy - is aiming to improve the range of digital services designed for citizens and companies, guaranteeing the availability of public-sector information in open formats, also through the infrastructures and technologies available within the administration.
More specifically, the partnership between the Campania Regional Authority and AlmavivA has given rise to the i.Ter platform, a tool for analysis and regional representation; platform modules include the Open Data Portal, a fundamental point of reference from which participants will be able to source useful material when tackling the App 2 ZES Campania challenge.
In a complex geographical scenario with great potential, participants in The Big Hack – Hack Night@Museum will be asked to create an App destined to become an innovative Digital service for localising leading productive landscapes. In real time, the investor will configure a scenario summarising the geographical, infrastructural, technical, administrative and economic conditions of the outlined areas. This will make it possible, in line with current efforts aimed at simplifying administration, to significantly increase the attractiveness of what the regions have to offer, especially at a time when the Industry 4.0 paradigm is undergoing heavy implementation.
