Are you ready to change your perspective? Now you can keep up with Almaviva’s reforestation initiatives, in partnership with ZeroCO2, from space, thanks to a new system that incorporates satellite images with project tracking.

Almaviva is deeply committed to addressing issues related to energy and the environment through monitoring and efficiency initiatives, as part of a sustainability policy that strives every day to balance technological innovation, environmental conservation, quality of life, and economic stability.

Among its green initiatives with a significant social impact, in 2019 the company planted a small forest in Guatemala. For three years, each georeferenced tree was entrusted to an employee of the Almaviva Group, so that he/she could follow its growth as a symbolic guardian of a “distant future” that belongs to all of us. And in 2022, Almaviva’s reforestation project continued below sea level, where we contributed to the seagrass meadow in Sardinia, in the Golfo Aranci, in partnership with ZeroCO2 and Worldrise Onlus.

Now, from space, we can look at these initiatives with a different perspective. In a world without borders, forests regain their majesty and we can better appreciate the impact we are having, together with partners like zeroCO2, on the creation of a greener and fairer world, not just when it comes to trees, but also complex ecosystems, demonstrating that it’s only by working together that we can make a difference.
