How much is the Digital Healthcare expenditure in Italy worth? What is the level of development of the different Connected Care applications? How experienced are our healthcare companies in collecting and enhancing data and what is our approach to Value Based Healthcare?

There was an open debate on these and other topics at the Conference on the results of the Research of the Digital Innovation in Health Observatory, organized today by the Politecnico di Milano School of Management in collaboration with AlmavivA, entitled "Connected Care Revolution: if not now, when?", during which the Osservatori.net Digital Innovation in Healthcare Awards were awarded. AlmavivA was awarded in the category “Management of clinical processes and hospital care”, for its project that involves the development of an innovative system for the progressive and continuous enhancement of the information heritage of the Social and Territorial Healthcare Company of Vimercate. The goal of the project is to create effective clinical decision support tools and solutions for predictive and prescriptive analysis in the management of social and healthcare processes.
