“Our country’s economic recovery will also rely on Artificial Intelligence: Italian companies have come to realize this. Its full potential is only just beginning to be developed, since many potential applications must still to be exploited. In this regard, we have been lending our contribution for several years with innovative and sustainable solutions, capable of speeding up digitalization.” This was the view expressed by Valeria Sandei, the CEO of Almawave, the Italian company leader in Artificial Intelligence and in the analysis of natural language, as she commented the official data released a few days ago by the Polytechnic University of Milan, which through its Artificial Intelligence Research Center highlighted the productive fabric’s growing propensity for digital innovation. Despite the current health emergency, in 2020 the AI market grew by 15% compared to 2019, reaching a value of 300 million Euro, largely ascribable directly to Italian companies (230 million).
