Almaviva Group’s technologies and commitment are now in service to those who have been promoting the rights of people with disabilities and working for their full social inclusion for years.

Disability Pride Italia is an open and constantly expanding international network made up of different organizations that share the same values and goals, promoting and affirming a new way of perceiving and valuing people with disabilities.

Sharing the mission of cultural renewal, Almaviva and Almawave are closely involved with the launch of Disability Pride’s Charter of Values and are digital partners of all of its initiatives. ​Because there is nothing more normal than being different.

The following are the ten principles of Disability Pride in Italy, which Almaviva Group is committed to upholding and promoting:

• Respect and promote the value of differences between individuals
• Support and encourage scientific research and technological innovation
• Promote a culture that does not allow discrimination
• Support and promote equal opportunities
• Affirm the value of the active contribution of people with disabilities
• Encourage the skills and development progress of children with disabilities
• Promote language and behaviors that overcome stereotypes and prejudices regarding people with disabilities
• Demand, support, and promote universal accessibility
• Ensure that both tangible and intangible cultural heritage is truly accessible.
