The Smart Cities research projects shall be presented at the IEEE Second International Smart Cities Conference

Applying for a child’s school place or viewing blood test results online, accessing land registry services or filing an application for grants for cultural activities, these are just a few of the over 40 services offered by the online Trentino services portal. Smart services, meaning they’re innovative, user-friendly and smart, designed to make day-to-day life easier. The services will be presented at the Trento Smart City Week 2016, on 10-15 September.

One of the key features of the events-packed week is the ISC2 2016 international conference on Improving the citizens quality of life, an academic section dedicated to the scientific community by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, to which AlmavivA has been invited as partner to the Cluster Smart Tech Communities: on the morning of 13 September, the Head of the Innovation & Finance for Innovation Projects division Alessandra Raffone, will give an overview of the research projects AlmavivA is committed to developing in the field of Smart Cities and Communities; in the afternoon, Luca Cornali, Architecture, Mobile & IoT Solutions at AlmavivA, with the Chair of Handicrea, will provide an in-depth picture of the Trentino Accessibile project, while Antonio Cerqua, Architecture, Mobile & IoT Solutions at AlmavivA, will present GIoTTO, AlmavivA’s Internet of Things platform and its contribution to the Education, Energy, Mobility sectors, and the Technology Garden, which is being developed by AlmavivA as part of the Città Educante (Education City) project.
