Stefano Pileri appointed new President
of Confindustria Servizi Innovativi e Tecnologici
 
 
Stefano Pileri is the new President of Confindustria Servizi Innovativi e Tecnologici, the Federation of Confindustria member companies operating in the fields of telecommunications, IT, radio and TV broadcasting, communication and marketing, consulting, satellite applications, engineering, certification and facility management.
 
Mr. Pileri was appointed at a meeting attended by the representatives of 51 trade associations and 62 local organizations.
 
Born in Rome in 1955, Stefano Pileri began his professional career at Sip, in 1982, and since January 2007 is the Technology & Operations Manager in the Telecom Italia Group.
 
The meeting also appointed the following Vice Presidents: Ennio Lucarelli (Deputy Vice President), Andrea Ambrogetti, Paolo Angelucci, Franco Cavallaro, Luigi Freguia, Luigi Gubitosi, Pietro Guindani, Stefano Parisi.
 
Stefano Pileri succeeds Alberto Tripi, the entrepreneur who, after having founded and chaired Federcomin from 1999 to 2006, subsequently occupied the top position at Confindustria Servizi Innovativi e Tecnologici, the grouping of enterprises established as a result of the merger between Federcomin and FITA. Mr. Tripi is a member of the Executive Board of Confindustria, where he holds the position of Delegate for e-Government and Coordinator of Services and Technologies.
 
Following today’s appointment, the Federation strengthens its presence within Confindustria, with its 17,000 member companies, 600,000 employees and an overall turnover of approx. 117 billion euros, accounting for 40% of the turnover of the entire industry.
