Public Private Partnerships: a pact for Digital Italy. On Monday, 14 November the GM Antonio Amati will speak at a Conference presenting the results of the Survey by the Digital Agenda Observatory of the Milan Polytechnic

The Italian Digital Agenda is now in an advanced phase. The Government has empowered an extraordinary commissioner to speed up its implementation, spending in digital technology is on the rise again, after years of cuts, and the ultrafast broadband cabling project is about to be taken off the back burner. The focus is now on gradually requalifying public spending in digital technologies and the Agency for Digital Italy AgID is seriously engaged in creating a strong momentum, supervising the development of several key infrastructure projects, such as SPID, ANPR and PagoPA.

Against this backdrop, it is becoming increasingly important to encourage public/private partnerships, which is one of the issues that will be tackled on Monday, 14 November, at the Conference presenting the results of the Survey by the Digital Agenda Observatory of the Milan Polytechnic’s School of Management, in partnership with the AgID, and sponsored by AlmavivA and other partner businesses.

The presentation of the results of the 2016 Survey will be followed by two Round Tables, with representatives of the political world, the Government, the AgID, the Regions and the Partners to the Observatory.
The GM of the IT Division, Antonio Amati, will be attending on behalf of AlmavivA.

The closing event of the Conference will be the presentation of the 2016 Digital Agenda Awards. The aim of this event, now in its second edition, is to support the culture of digital innovation in Italy, by generating a virtuous mechanism for sharing the best digitization practices, rewarding and shining the spotlight on the most innovative Italian companies and public administration entities. AlmavivA has presented two case histories, which will be assessed by a committee of experts, who will decide based on the success of the solution and its impact, significance and replicability, the governance of the project, its degree of technological innovation, the measurement of its benefits and the processes for implementing it.
