AlmavivA Contact acts consistently with the guidelines of the Ministry for Economic Development

Rome, 26 April 2016 – At the meeting with the Unions held at the headquarters of Unindustria, in Rome, AlmavivA Contact has tabled a proposal that is fully consistent with the guidelines set out by the Government, and recorded in the Minutes of the meeting held on 20 April at the Ministry, which accepts the union requests to activate, in the forthcoming months, a new ‘solidarity contract’, to enable - in the meantime - the implementation of the announced structural programs for the industry.

This decision by AlmavivA Contact is our response to the Government’s call to take responsibility in the face of an extremely serious situation, and following the string of meetings held over the last few weeks, at various levels, all the stakeholders involved must also take responsibility, because unmotivated delaying tactics and continuous postponements to future meetings are hard to understand.

The possibility of a future agreement will be submitted to the evaluation and analysis of the Company’s Board of Directors.
