AlmavivA participates with the industrial research and experimental development project Open City Platform
The first European seminar on the project will be held on 14 and 15 April 2016, in Rome: the technical managers and information system managers of the Smart Cities will meet up to share, with their international counterparts, the solutions for innovation in the Smart Cities, and their ideas on the integration of advanced technologies. The aim is to achieve safer, more sustainable, communities, with higher working and living standards.
At the Seminar, AlmavivA will showcase its Open City Platform industrial research and experimental development project, co-financed by the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research, as part of the “Smart Cities and Communities and Social Innovation” competition, which features a partnership between research institutions, businesses, the regional governments of Emilia Romagna, Marche and Tuscany, and a vast number of local governments in the three regions; the project – launched in January 2014 – aims primarily to research and make available to the Public Administration an innovative, open and interoperable Cloud Computing platform.
