The healthcare developments event – Sanità Futura – will be held from November 7 to 10, at Villa Erba, Cernobbio, under the scientific coordination of the Ministry of Health. This premier event, attended by all the key public and private health providers in Italy, is the main opportunity for addressing and further investigating healthcare issues at institutional level, a qualified and highly expected event where health providers can meet, exchange experiences and move forward together.

Finsiel has a twenty-year experience in the public health sector, during which it has acquired high-profile competencies, assisting the Ministry and helping it develop according to a consulting approach, and not just as a technological partner: from the reorganisation of the national health service along business lines to the regional devolution process, to e-government projects and e-health

At the event, with an exhibition space of its own and a workshop promoted in partnership with KPMG on "Home Healthcare: from continuity of care to integrated social and health care", Finsiel will be showcasing the models and tools it has developed to further the achievement of the necessary – albeit complex and high impact – changes outlined in the latest National Health Plans: shifting the emphasis of care from hospitals to the community, integrating health and social care services at different levels, to the provision of home healthcare. To develop a public health service that is no longer focused only on treating diseases, but embraces the overall physical and mental well-being of the person, while at the same time meeting the urgent need to optimise the cost/benefit ratio of healthcare and rationalising expenditure. A new decentralised health system relying on tried and tested environments and technologies, such as telemedicine and digital terrestrial systems.

Finsiel is also engaged in two very significant projects along the same lines, in Italy and Europe: a Social & Health Care Information System – Regional Services Card developed for the regional government of Lombardia, and the Information System for the National Transplant Centre.
