AlmavivA will coordinate the operations of the transplant system for the Turkish Ministry of Health

The Turkish Ministry of Health has chosen AlmavivA and its cutting-edge technology to provide coordination and consulting services for its transplant system.
AlmavivA, as the lead member of a consortium including the Transplant Department of the University of Ankara and the Turkish consulting company BYS Group, has been awarded the European contract, financed by Europe Aid for pre-accession countries, for coordination and consulting services to the Turkish Ministry of Health, with respect to organ transplants and donations.

AlmavivA will coordinate the activities for:

  •  harmonizing Turkish legislation with the European directives on organ donation and transplants
  • improving knowledge, by training health operatives, with regard to the issues and practices relating to organ donation and transplants
  • reviewing the statistical system for collecting and preparing the control data coming from the transplant centers throughout Turkey
  • increasing public awareness on the issue of organ donation and transplants, through awareness-raising campaigns
  • fostering bilateral collaboration agreements, with regard to transplants, with another 4 European countries.

 

Through this success, AlmavivA will consolidate its market position in Europe and obtain further recognition of its capacity to offer innovative solutions abroad.
