AlmavivA Contact, agreement reached on the Quality Plan for Palermo

Andrea Antonelli: “An important step forward towards finalising the Labour Pact necessary to safeguard and relaunch the production facility”

Palermo, 12 June 2018 – An agreement was reached today between the company and trade union representatives in the headquarters of the Labour Council of the Sicily Region for the recovery of the Palermo site’s productivity and competitiveness, aimed at improving the quality of the service through the active involvement of the workers.

“The agreement on the Quality Plan marks an important step forward towards the finalisation of the Labour Pact necessary to safeguard and relaunch the Palermo-based call centre”, commented Andrea Antonelli, the Chairman of AlmavivA Contact.

The process is divided into three main phases: data monitoring and analysis in relation to efficiency and quality standards; identification of the specific improvement areas; identification of training plans to improve performances also through multimedia modules.

The assessment and possible planning of training paths will be carried out on the basis of individual interviews, which may also be attended by a unitary workplace union structure representative.

In accordance with the legal provisions, the entire process is conducted with the guarantee of the utmost protection for the profile and privacy of the workers, the personal data of whom cannot be used for disciplinary purposes or to define possible career advancements.

The agreement signed today introduces innovative measures for sharing the impact of the interventions on the site’s performance, the implementation of which is rooted in the full involvement of the workers and trade union representatives.

To this aim, a joint commission has been set up consisting of the unitary workplace union representatives and the signatory trade union organisations, in order to guarantee the correct development of the agreement.
