AlmavivA is awarded the contract for managing the ePort system of the Genoa Port Authority
AlmavivA has won a contract under the restricted tendering procedure at Community level, launched by the Genoa Port Authority - APGE, for the provision of management, assistance and maintenance services, in respect of the ePort IT system and related Port user support services.
The system, owned by the APGE, is a means for streamlining and ensuring the sustainability of freight handling and transport movements within the Port of Genoa areas and facilities, and involves all the local Port stakeholders, such as forwarding companies, maritime agents, port terminal operators, hauliers, customs offices, Coast Guard services, etc., managing the authorization and document workflow processes, in respect of import / export operations.
The contract includes:
the delivery of platform services
the first-level operational help desk for system users
the second-level call center
the service management
IT security
the evolutionary maintenance of the system.
AlmavivA participated in the tendering procedure on its own and the contract has a term of two years, after which it can be renewed for a further two-year term.
This contract will further strengthen AlmavivA’s already strong Logistics sector positioning.
