Forum ABI Lab 2006 – the two-day event dedicated to the banking system – opens today in Milan and Banca Antoniana Popolare Veneta will be talking about Banksiel.

Milan, Palazzo Mezzanotte, headquarters of the Italian bourse. Institutional meetings, round tables, demo spaces for case studies and in-depth workshops. ABILab, the Italian Bankers’ Association’s research centre, of which Banksiel is a consortium partner, is promoting the Forum ABILab 2006 event, one of the year’s leading events where banks and ICT businesses meet and develop.

Banksiel will be the subject of Banca Antoniana Popolare Veneta’s contribution to the event on 21 March, at 11.00 am. In line with the spirit of the event, in fact, during the session reserved to Banksiel, one of its customers will be called to speak about its partnership with the company.

The title of the case study is “Guarantees: the new regulations as an opportunity to improve operating processes”, illustrating how Antonveneta – based on proposals by Banksiel – has found an opportunity to review and optimise its credit management processes in the wake of the recent introduction of the Basel 2 regulatory requirements. Hence, the study on the engineering of the processes for collecting and storing guarantee-related information.
