The second-level University Master course in Railway Infrastructure & Systems begins at the Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza"

AlmavivA is one of the partners and was represented at the inaugural meeting by its General Manager, Transportation Division, Smeraldo Fiorentini

The inauguration meeting of the thirteenth edition of the second-level University Master course in Railway Infrastructure & Systems is underway at the Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza".

The General Manager, Transportation Division, Smeraldo Fiorentini, is representing AlmavivA along with Alessandra Raffone, Innovation and Finance Project Manager for Innovation.

This year too, AlmavivA is a partner in the Master course which will be run by the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Civil & Industrial Engineering. Its fellow partners are the Italian State Railways Group, Bombardier, Hitachi Rail Italy, Ansaldo STS, AlmavivA, Roma Metropolitane, Ferrotramviaria and Alstom.

The aim of the Master course is to offer a training path which will enable the students to acquire a multidisciplinary scientific skill set in the field of railway transport and create high-level technicians who are able to meet the needs of Local and National Administrations, Railway Companies, Engineering Companies, Research Centres and Enterprise and Industry from the sector.
