Conference showcasing the results of the Survey by the Cloud & ICT as a Service Observatory of the Milan Polytechnic University’s School of Management

AlmavivA is one of the supporters of the Digital Innovation Observatories set up by the School of Management of the Milan Polytechnic, which take an accurate and continuously updated snapshot of the impact of ICT technology, in Italy, on businesses, the public administration, supply chains and markets.

At the Conference showcasing the results of the Survey by the Cloud & ICT as a Service Observatory of the Milan Polytechnic’s School of Management, which will be held in Milan on 22 June 2016, in the Assembly Hall of the Bicocca University of Milan, there will be a speech by Francesco Barbieri, Chief Innovation Officer at the Operations Division of AlmavivA.

Now in its sixth edition, the Observatory aims to analyze and explain the Cloud phenomenon, estimating its size and trends and shedding light on the IT developments towards the Cloud and on the qualifying architectural models, investigating its impact on businesses and on the ICT supply chain models, with the ultimate end of highlighting how the Cloud can provide answers for innovating businesses and relaunching the country’s economy. The aim of the Observatory is to support the CIOs and Executives of business lines in developing the ICT applications and infrastructure generated by the spread of new ICT offering models and represent a benchmark for developing the culture of innovation of the ICT offering models, bringing together and developing a community of demand and supply of ICT technology.
