“Helping European Railways to Build Digital Security through Cooperation”: AlmavivA at the CyberSecurity4Rail Conference in Brussels

Experts in cyber crime and digital security, leaders in ICT and representatives from the main European transport companies will be meeting on 4th October in the European district in Brussels for an international conference dedicated to cyber security for the railway sector. Ever on the rise, cyber crime attacks show all too painfully how vulnerable our increasingly interconnected world is.

By relating experiences gained from recent episodes and presenting a series of international cases, the message that the participants of the conference held in Brussels want to get through is that institutions and enterprise need to work as a team and coordinate their activities if they are to prevent and control the perils at large. Cooperation must take place at all levels in order to protect data and networks from threats which are becoming increasingly sophisticated.

ICT technology is a major driver for developing integrated public transport in large metropolitan areas and AlmavivA guides the digital transformation of the Country by working every day to provide its customers with ever-higher standards of quality and security.

Manager for Cyber-Security Practices at AlmavivA, Romolo Buonfiglio, will be addressing the CyberSecurity4Rail Conference
